We had recently moved to Portland Oregon from Los Angeles and needed to have a bit more heat than we could get from our wood stove. I checked all online providers, checked local stores, and even looked in Craigslist. We did get an older model of Whitfield and spent $1000 getting it running and still had problems. I found this one on Amazon and took a chance.
 I liked that they had the owner's manual online and I could check it out before buying. I loved that it is MADE IN USA!
